Jordyne’s Priorities

Why I’m running

I’m running for the Wake County Board of Education because I believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities, as it has mine. My experience in policy development and compliance has given me the ability to consider all perspectives and make decisions based on what is best for the whole community. I bring a balanced and fair approach to problem-solving, ensuring that every decision is made with integrity and the best interests of our students and staff in mind.

Our schools should be places where every child has access to high-quality learning opportunities, where students, educators and staff have a sense of belonging, and where the entire community is engaged in the educational process. Our schools should be safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments where students from all backgrounds can thrive. Let's work together to create schools that inspire, empower, and prepare our students for a successful future. Learn more about my priorities below. If there is anything you’d like to know that isn’t listed, feel free to let me know!
