Jordyne Blaise Concedes Wake County School Board District 3 Race; Calls for Continued Community Advocacy
RALEIGH, NC – On November 15, Jordyne Blaise, Candidate for Wake County Board of Education, issued a statement congratulating Wing Ng on his victory while reaffirming her dedication to advocating for equitable and inclusive education in Wake County.
“With the votes counted and the results confirmed, I extend my congratulations to Wing Ng on his election as the District 3 representative to the Wake County Board of Education,” Blaise said. “This campaign has been an extraordinary journey, and I am deeply grateful to my supporters, volunteers, and every voter who placed their trust in me and our shared vision for a brighter future for all students.”
The final vote tally showed Wing Ng receiving 50.25% of the vote to Blaise’s 49.09%, reflecting a close race that engaged and energized District 3 voters.
Blaise emphasized that while the election results may not have aligned with her hopes, the work of improving the educational experience for all students continues. “While this is not the outcome we fought for, the mission to ensure equitable access to resources, support for our educators, and a safe, inclusive environment for every child remains unwavering,” she said.
She also encouraged her supporters to remain active participants in shaping the future of Wake County schools. “This campaign was never just about one person or one election—it was about building a community of advocates committed to supporting our public schools,” Blaise said. “I urge all of you to stay engaged, hold our leaders accountable, and push for policies that reflect the needs of every student, teacher, and family in our district.” For more information about joining a local PTA or supporting Wake county students, please visit https://www.wakepta.org.
